LA MAISONNETTE - Tripolitania

Our new centre in via Tripolitania, operating since the 8th of September 2008, is strongly characterized by the exclusive style of “La Maisonnette” and is located in a completely new structure of 400m, designed to welcome children from the age of 3 months to the age of three years according to three different sections:

• Little 3 months – 12 months
• Very Young 12 months - 24 months
• Young from 12 months upwards

In November an accreditation with the Comune di Roma will be requested for the Nursery School in order to welcome children in the waiting list of the II Municipio.

We are open from Monday to Friday and from the 1st of September to the 31st of July, from 8.00am to 06.30pm and on Saturday mornings as a Baby Centre until 13.00.
As for all “La Maisonnette” Centres our staff is highly qualified, trained and updated in order to meet the needs of those children who live the experience of a trilingual approach helped by English, French and Italian mother tongue trainers who introduce languages through game.
All our buildings and pieces of furniture respond to CEE safety requirements and our premises are divided into smaller areas for small group activities introduced to help children develop a sense of autonomy and containment in a protected space.
The structure will soon be provided with an internal canteen supplied to offer a varied and well balanced menu also in case of allergies and intoleration and will provide snack food for students both in the morning and in the afternoon.

Our teaching method is designed to offer both “routine” and “creative” activities such as welcoming time, snack-breaks, lunch-breaks, afternoon-breaks, leave-taking and individual and group games. All arranged in specific areas. All our teaching projects are the result of careful observation and monitoring of both children and their needs while our methodology refers to a complex and rich didactic approach based on direct experience and observation by expert operators who count on wide multisensory training experiences, indispensable for the development of a child. Our school is also oriented to family support and promotes collaboration between the school and the family, which are the most important reference points to a child, and offers meeting areas where it is possible to discuss and share views. After 5.00 pm, the school opens to older children for workshops on French, Information Technology, Creative English, and Acting.
