The History of LA MAISONNETTE

La Maisonnette was founded in 1980 by Teresa Genova. Located near the Colosseum, in Viale del Monte Oppio, it was originally a bi-lingual (Italian-French) lay school; in the 1990’s English was introduced, making it a tri-lingual school and putting it in the category of a European school.

La Maisonnette has a nursery school for children from three months to three years and a kindergarten for children from three to six. Children are grouped according to age. Extra courses are available to children from four to eleven in language, music, gymnastics and computer.
La Maisonnette opened a second school in 1990 and a Franchising project in 2000.
We now have the following schools in Rome:

• A nursery school and kindergarten (with public school status) founded in 1980 in Viale del Monte Oppio 7, Rome (headquarters).

In February, 2008, the school in Monte Oppio was awarded certification of conformity n. 20669-2008-AQ-ITA-SINCERT for management UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.

• Nursery school e scuola dell’infanzia in via Bonvesin de la Riva, 85 (Nomentana) accreditata, a partire dall’a.s. 2004/05 con il V Municipio del Comune di Roma per accogliere bambini in lista di attesa nelle liste comunali; (a partire dall’a.s. 2004/05 LA MAISONNETTE si è aggiudicata l’appalto di gara per l’insegnamento della lingua inglese presso le scuole comunali dell’infanzia di Monterotondo)
• Nursery school e scuola dell’infanzia in Viale dell’Umanesimo 72,74 (Eur) accreditata, a partire dall’a.s. 2006/07 con il XII Municipio del Comune di Roma.
• Nursery school a Colleverde , Via Monterosa,33 (Guidonia Montecelio)
• Ludoteca- Spazio Be.Bi. e in Via degli Olmetti 3Z (Formello – zona industriale)
• Nursery school in via Tripolitania 176 accreditata, a partire da marzo 09 con il II Municipio del Comune di Roma per accogliere bambini in lista di attesa nelle liste comunali.
• Nursery school aziendale Telecontact a Catanzaro (località Cono)
